Why eat that chemical-laden crap out of a box, when you can whip up fresh pancakes from scratch in just a couple minutes? So yummy!!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup vanilla soy milk or almond or rice milk, organic
  • 2 tablespoons apple sauce unsweetened, organic

Directions

  1. Heat up a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Add milk and apple sauce and mix well.
  4. Pour batter onto skillet to make flapjacks! Flip when the edges firm up, then cook for 20-30 seconds more.

Makes 3-4 medium-sized pancakes per serving.

Approximately 212 calories, 2g fat, 42g carbs, 3g fiber, 8g protein per serving.
